Good news! I walked the farm this afternoon and there are Blueberries for the picking. If you see a row with an orange ribbon tied to it, you’ll find plenty. I picked six pounds just walking around today.
We will open this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from 6:00am until 8:30pm. We recommend that you pick in the morning or in the evening to avoid the heat of mid-day. I did a long walk of the field and the blueberries look good. They are a mix of big and small, but there are plants that will fill your bucket if you just find them. Don’t forget to look up and to get inside of the plants. I’ll post an update about the Fourth of July on Saturday but it looks like it should be a good weekend of red, white, and blueberry!
