I walked the field again this afternoon and we will open this Wednesday, June 29th from 6:00am until 8:30pm. We also plan to open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. If anything changes I will post on this website, Facebook, and our farm voicemail. We recommend that you pick in the morning or in the evening to avoid the heat of mid-day.
The later varieties (Tiff Blue and Brightwell) are almost fully ripe and our pickers came in with good buckets all wekend long. The Powder Blues are always the last to get ripe and they are coming in now. A few pickers had trouble finding the Blueberries so remember to keep moving until you find them and to look up and inside of the plants to get those really beautiful ones. We will recommend the places for you to pick but feel free to go anywhere you like.
