Great news: Moorhead’s Blueberry Farm will open at 6:30am this Saturday, June 5th! The berries look excellent, and there will be very good picking this season due to the rain and high level of production from the plants. If you can’t make it this weekend, do not worry because there are many more blueberries to come during the month of June and likely beyond. There is a decent chance of rain coming up, so we recommend wearing old shoes. The field has been wet for several weeks, so there are a few spots that we have not been able to mow and trim. Hopefully the rain will hold off so that I can get that done this week. The hours will be 6:30am-8:30pm, and the price is $3.50 per pound, cash or check only. No credit or debit cards accepted.
